Story And Reflection Of Blessed Luke Belludi Of Padua City

    Today Feb. 24, 2015, We Catholic celebrate and honors the holy Saint of the day Blessed Luke Belludi , He was rely the savior of the Padua City through the help of St. Anthony his teacher, St. Anthony was preaching conversion to the lives and lived permanently in Padua, Luke Belludi visited him & asked him humbly to receive the habit of the followers of St. Francis. Anthony liked the talented and well educated humble boy Luke and personally recommended him to St. Francis, who then received him into the Franciscan Order.

   The noble and a noble Belludi, was only 20yr, he then became so close to  Anthony's both in travels, preaching, being so caring/taking care of Anthony and his place upon himself even to death. the city of Padua appointed him the  guardian-er of Friars Minor. During *1239 de town was a prey in the hands of enemies. Many high and well respected families in that city were death victims, noble council in the *were *banished and allot happened, Pudua's highest school were short down & the building of Padua's church remained uncompleted which was devoted to St. Anthony. The noble Belludi L, on his own side was banished from Padua, unknown to the enemies in that city, Luke Belludi came back hidden. Every darken of each day. i.e at night, Luke & the new guardian always visit St. Anthony's tom at the unfinished temple(shrine) to seek/pray for his help. One day at night, tomb voiced out promising the Padua city that soon they all will be free and delivered from its evil enemies(tyrant).

Latter the tom prophetic massage came to pass and was fulfilled, Belludi was ranked the minister of the city, then Luke Belludi now completed the great basilica and honored it to St. Anthony his rabai. Luke Blludi did so many good works in the name of his teacher as Anthony, his gifted miracles. During his death Luke Belludi was rested in the basilica that he accomplished & Padua pupils regarded him with veneration till date.
